I don’t know the going rate of service fees for diagnosing issues with appliances but $220 seems steep. Otherwise I love the guys who come out and how friendly they are. They always leave my home exactly the way they found it. They’re very thorough and transparent. They are honest when you need a new appliance instead of starting to sell you an expensive fix to your broken one!

I was called to a home to repair a LG front load washer that was not draining and displaying an OE error message. Upon inspection, I found that the drain pump impeller had given out and was no longer able to drain the water out of the tub. I replaced the drain pump and now the washer is working as intended.

I was called to a customer's home to repair a Whirlpool dryer. The customer had dropped a pod cap down the lint chute. I opened up the back of the dryer and removed the cap along with a wrench I found as well. I tested the dryer and everything is working as intended.

Maytag Bravos XL dryer that was making a loud noise. Upon inspection, I found that the heater housing and exhaust tube were loose. I secured them using high-temperature metal tape, which resolved the issue.

Kenmore elite top load washer is not spinning the water out of the clothes I found the connector that feeds power to the drive motor has a broken wire right at the connector head. We will need to replace the lower wiring harness to fix the issue. There is a chance of other issues, but I would not know until we replace the lower wiring harness.

Lg top load washer- washer flooded the floor during a load of towels. The towels still came out done and the cycle ended. I ran the washer through multiple cycles and could not reproduce any leaks. Keep an eye on the washer and try not to use it during below freezing temperatures.

Whirlpool top load washer- washer is not completing the cycle randomly. Also sometimes the drain pump will continuously run even when the washer is not in use. He has to reset the control by holding down the start button until he hears a click. I looked inside of the diagnostic error code history and found one error code. The code states the pressure sensor on the board is failing. I made sure the pressure hose was not an issue and that there was no clog inside of the bottom of the tub where the hose connects to. At that point the pressure sensor on the board is at fault. We will need to replace the control board to fix the issue.

Ge front load washer- washer is leaving water in the softener compartment and is making a loud unbalancing type noise during the spin cycle. The softener compartment was full of gunk and was not allowing the water to siphon through properly. Cleaned out the compartment and now the water is siphoning properly. The noise is coming from the inner tub and bearings being warped and worn out.

Maytag dependable care top load washer- washer top frame seems to be loose and the washer is off balance. They think maybe one of the leveling feet is out of place. I found two issues, one is the bolt on the left side of the frame that screws in to the top frame came out due to the metal screw hole rusting out. I screwed a new hole a little further up and installed a new screw to secure the top frame. The second issue was the front right leveling leg was not all the way down. That was allowing the machine to rock and move during the spin cycle. I adjusted the leveling leg and now the washer is balanced. I tested the washer out using a set of towels the customer provided and everything seems to be running as intended.

Whirlpool top load washer- washer is leaving black stains on the clothing and it smells greasy according to the customer. I was able to get the wash plate off and found black gunk stuck on top of the tub drive hub and on the underside of the washplate black staining that seems to me to resemble grease. I did also find that the transmission driveshaft has play in it, which leads me to believe that most likely the seal is deteriorating on the transmission and is allowing grease and seal particles to leak in to the tub when the washer fills with water. I also noticed the washplate is breaking in certain places. It will not be cost effective to fix the washer.

I was called to a home to repair a noisy Lg refrigerator. Upon inspection, I determined that the condenser fan motor needed to be replaced. I removed the old motor and installed a new one. After completing the repair, the unit is now functioning properly.

Jimmy C.
Ge profile top load washer- washer will not get past sensing. You can hear it is trying to move but it will not move the agitator or the tub then after about five minutes it will shut off. I determined the drive belt has worn out and fallen off of the pulleys. I replaced the drive belt and now the washer is working as intended.

Deimy G.
I was called out to a Samsung refrigerator with the ON OF error code. Upon arrival, I determined that the unit was on demo mode. I reset the unit and cleared the back drains. Afterward, I tested the unit and found that it was working properly. I explained to the customer the cause of the error code and how to prevent it from occurring in the future.

Samsung top load washer- washer was getting off balanced during loads. He replaced the suspension rods with parts from Amazon and that fixed the issue for a couple of weeks but it is now happening again. We found the suspension rods he ordered were the wrong ones and also if you ever replace suspension rods on a Samsung using aftermarket parts you need to grease them with the factory grease. Installed new suspension rods from Amazon that were the correct part number and applied grease.

Jimmy C.
Maytag dependable care washer- washer is leaking a bunch of water when it fills up. Sounds like a rainfall of water on the inside of the washer. I determined that the part of the tub where the pressure hose connects to is rusted and breaking allowing water to leak out of the outer tub when it fills up to a certain level. The outer tub is discontinued. It will be time to buy a new washer.

Jimmy C.
Whirlpool front load washer- washer is sometimes producing a nasty smell when draining and on some loads the water will not drain from the tub and the clothes come out wet. It turns out the washer is not at fault. When the washer goes to the draining portion during the automatic test mode I could hear the standpipe where the washer drains in to backing up. I looked behind the washer at the standpipe and saw water coming out of the standpipe. There is most likely a clog inside of the standpipe. Have a plumber come out and address the issue.

Jimmy C.
Lg dryer- dryer is making a loud noise during its cycle. I found that somebody shoved the power cord through the wire hole and it allowed it to rub on the tub as the dryer is tumbling. I pulled the power cord back out and another dryer is sounding as intended.

Jimmy C.
Lg top load washer- washer agitator popped off. I determined the teeth on the agitator stripped out and caused the agitator bolt to loosen and allow the agitator to come off during the cycle. I replaced the agitator and now the washer is working as intended.
