Ge dryer- dryer is acting weird. She will hear noises coming from the dryer when in use and will see the extended tumble button turn on and off when not being pressed. The user interface is failing and is thinking somebody is pressing the button. The user interface is sold as an assembly with the main control board.

Lg dryer- dryer is producing D80 and higher error messages about 5 minutes in to the cycle and won’t dry the clothes. I determined the dryer is fine after running a temperature check and running the installation check on the airflow without the vent being connected. From there, I went outside and found the termination cap goes to the roof and has a wire screen that is clogged with lint and causing back pressure into the dryer. The roof is too steep so I cannot get up there. He will need to have his roofer come out and remove the screen and make sure good airflow flow is coming out. If the airflow is weak, have the vent cleaned out. I did also mention the flow sense can be turned off so he had me turn it off. Just make sure that once a year you have the dryer vent cleaned out.

Whirlpool top load washer- washer leaked a towel worth of water underneath the washer towards the front middle on multiple cycles. She tried it again a couple of times but the leaking has stopped. I determined the water is leaking from the splash guard where the fabric softener dispenses in to. That can also be amplified by overloading the washer and causing the tub to move too much as it fills allowing more water to leak down from that area. There is a service pointer from Whirlpool to replace the splash guard with an updated version with more drain slots to reduce the possibility of leaking.

I was called to a home to repair an LG refrigerator that was not cooling. Upon inspection, I determined that the compressor was faulty. I replaced the compressor, which was covered under warranty, and the customer was responsible for the labor and materials.

Bosch ascenta compact washer- washer is making horrible noises during the cycle and sounds like it is going to take off. I determined the bearings and inner tub support bracket have failed and are allowing the inner tub to rub on the outer plastic tub and the rubber seal, causing a whole bunch of noise as the washer goes through its cycle. We will need to replace the bearing kit along with the inner tub. It will not be cost-effective to repair.

I am a professional repair technician for Action Appliance Repair. I received a call from a customer who reported that their GE dishwasher was not powering on. I arrived at the customer's home and diagnosed the issue as a faulty control board. I replaced the control board and updated the firmware, and the dishwasher was back up and running in no time.

Scotsman under the counter ice machine not making ice. Diagnosed and determined that the unit was siting for a long time and water standing in the ice bin. Will not drain. The pressure switch had gunk in there and it would not activate the machine at all. Replaced the pressure switch, and deep cleaned the drain pump and drain line. Ran cleaner through the machine twice. I was able to save the customer quite a bit of money. After 4 hrs of cleaning and installed parts unit started to make ice.

Bosch Washer issue- washer is collecting water inside the drum when not in use and the fabric softener is not dispensing into the drum during its cycle. I determined that water inlet valves inside the washer were malfunctioning and causing issues. Replaced water inlet valves and now the washer is working as intended.

Dryer issue- dryer is screeching during its cycle. I opened up the dryer and found that the idler pulley was seized up and causing noise as the motor and belt tries to forcefully turn the pulley wheel. Replaced idler pulley and now the dryer is sounding as intended.
