I cannot say enough about what a wonderful company Action Appliance Repair is. We are extremely fortunate to have them available in our area. I’ve used their service several times over the last couple of years for various needs and I’m a customer for life, I’ll never use any other service. Deimy repaired our refrigerator on the same day we called in for service (which is amazing)! Deimy is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, gives his all to his customers, he doesn’t stop until everything is in perfect working order and he does it all while being kind and patient. He explains everything he’s doing. And he cleans everything up as if he was never there. He cares and that means so much! From the office staff to every technician that we have worked with, each and every experience has been super positive!
Excellent service, Quick response and Honest company!

John was great at fixing our under counter ice maker and helping me to understand a few things about it that I did not know. I thought we had to buy a whole new one, but we didn’t! They also did the repairs fast and had it back to me in time for an event I needed it for.
Good service, fast on time.

Electrolux laundry center- I checked the components inside the washer that would cause it not to start and they all checked fine. After that, I was thinking maybe there is a power issue going on since the washer gets its power from L1 and neutral on the dryer terminal block. I checked to see if the dryer is heating and it is not. The dryer can run off one leg of power but if it’s not getting the other 120 leg it will not heat. That leg that is missing to the dryer is most likely the one that feeds to the washer and that is why the washer is not working. I was able to move around the electrical and get the washer to work for a couple of seconds, and then it lost voltage again. I am confident the issue is not with the washer but with the electrical. Have an electrician come out and check the breaker and wiring going to the outlet and if that is fine then have them replace the three prong outlet and three prong dryer cord.

Whirlpool front load washer- washer is displaying a LOFL error message and will not run through the whole cycle. That error message means the washer could not fill up with water in a timely manner. I ran the washer through a diagnostic mode and found one of the solenoids on the cold water valve is not opening up all the way and causing low water flow. I replaced the cold water valve along with the supply hoses and the washer is now working as intended.

I was called to a home to repair a Kitchen Aid under the counter Icemaker that was leaking. Upon inspection, I found that the issue was with the fill pan. The fill pan was cracked, causing the unit to not make ice and have standing water inside the bin. I replaced the fill pan and tested the unit, and it was working properly. The customer was happy with the repair and thanked me for my help.

I was called to a home to repair a Sub-Zero 532 refrigerator that was not cooling on the refrigerator side. Upon inspection, I found that the thermostat was faulty and not sending power to the compressor. I replaced the thermostat and the refrigerator started cooling properly.

Samsung gas dryer- dryer is not producing heat after running a new load of sheets. At first, I was able to get heat being produced, but then after about 5 to 10 minutes, the heat cut off. I opened up the dryer and rigged it up so I could run it while watching the igniter glow. The igniter did glow and after the radiant sensor detected the igniter was on the gas coils should have let gas through the valve body but they did not. The gas coils have gone bad, but on this model they are not sold separately from the gas valve assembly.

I was called to repair a Kitchen Aid built-in refrigerator that was not cooling. Upon inspection, I found a leak in the fresh food evaporator capillary tube. I replaced the capillary tube and sealed the system parts. The unit is now cooling at the proper temperatures and functioning as intended.

Electrolux front load washer- washer is louder during heavier loads ever since the freeze a couple years back and now there is a leak that is starting to get progressively worse from the bottom front side of the washer. I found the backside where the bearings and tub seal are there is water leaking down onto the inside cabinet of the washer and onto the floor. To fix the issue we will need to replace the tub assembly.

I was called to a home to repair a Samsung dryer that was not producing any heat. Upon inspection, I found that the high limit thermostat was not working properly, causing the dryer to overheat and shut down. I replaced the thermostat and tested the dryer, and it was now working properly.

Samsung dryer- no heat being produced during the cycle. I opened up the dryer and found the thermal cut off gave out. Typically that happens because a restriction of airflow going to the outside of the dryer vent and causing the dryer to overheat and blow the thermal cutoff. I replaced the thermal cut off kit and the dryer is now heating as intended. Have a vent specialist company come out and figure out where the dryer vent exhausts out to and make sure nothing is wrong with it.

Frigidaire SXS Refrigerator- water and ice will not dispense from the dispenser area. Icemaker is still making ice. I took apart the user interface/dispenser assembly and found the actuator arm that presses the micro switch was out of track. Adjusted actuator arm and now the dispenser is working.

Maytag dependable care dryer- dryer is making a buzzing noise and producing a burning smell. Upon arrival, I started the dryer and heard a loud buzzing noise and observed the drum would not spin. I took apart the dryer and found a chapstick got inside of the blower wheel jamming it up. The blower wheel connects to the drive motor so the motor jammed up as well. The burning smell was due to the drive motor trying to run even though it could not. Removed chapstick and tested the dryer. The dryer is now working.

I was called to a home to repair a Thermador 48-inch range that was not sparking on certain burners. I diagnosed the issue as a faulty spark module and replaced it, which resolved the problem. The customer was very happy with the service and thanked me for my help.
