The Maytag Bravos XL Top Load Washer is not spinning the water out of the clothes. I found that the gearcase seal has given out and is allowing water to leak down on all electrical components and on to the floor. Those components are shorting out and now allowing the magnetic clutch to be magnetized to get into position to spin the washer. We will need to replace the gear case along with all the components down below. It will not be cost-effective to repair.

LG top-load washer that was making a metal-on-metal noise during the middle of the cycle. The customer had stopped the cycle and redistributed the load, but that did not help. I tested the washer and heard the noise during the diagnostic test cycle. I went down below and removed the rotor that covers the motor and drive assembly. I found pieces of metal breaking off from the drive assembly. We will need to replace the drive assembly to fix the issue. It will not be cost-effective to repair the washer.

Working on the Viking cooktop. Unit not working properly, need multiple parts. Advise customer to get a new unit.

Samsung top load washer that was not draining properly and was displaying a 5C error message. After conducting a thorough inspection, I determined that the cause of the no drain was due to a makeup square getting through the tub and jamming up the drain pump impeller. I removed the makeup square and tested the washer, and it is now working as intended.

I was called to repair a LG dryer that was making a thumping noise during the cycle. Upon inspection, I found that the two front drum support rollers had flat spots that were causing the noise. I also found that the drive belt was brittle and needed to be replaced.

I was called to repair a Whirlpool cabrio dryer that was making a loud screeching noise. Upon inspection, I found that the tensioner pulley was seizing up and causing the noise. I replaced the tensioner pulley and now the dryer is running smoothly. I also replaced the door catch, as the old one was broken and flimsy.

Whirlpool top load washer will continuously drain even though there is no water in the tub. The pressure switch that is built onto to the main control board has failed. As of right now, there is no fix for that besides replacing the main control board. The main control board is onback order. Customer is going to buy a new washer. Whirlpool dryer has a 3 prong but new house uses a 4 prong connection. I installed a new 4 prong dryer cord and tested the dryer. The dryer is working as intended.

Maytag top load washer leaked water on to the floor after washing a dog bed. The cycle still went through all the way. I ran the washer with and without clothes and was not able to reproduce the leak. I believe what happened is the dog bed caused the washer tub to get out of balance as it tried to drain and spin and caused water to go over the edges of the splash guard and on to the floor. Make sure to not load the washer more than halfway. Heavier items like dog beds, quilts, rugs, and comforters need to go to the laundry mat. Maytag dryer inspection. I found one of the moisture sensor wires laying on the frame of the dryer. Reinstalled wire and made sure it was secure. Rollers are freely spinning along with the tensioner pulley and the belt looks in good shape as well. Cleaned out the bottom of the dryer frame and the lint filter housing. Make sure to once a month take the lint filter to the sink and wash it. Let dry before reinstalling in dryer.

I was called to a home to repair a Whirlpool dryer that was not starting. Upon inspection, I found that the thermal fuse had gone out, which is a common issue with this type of dryer. I replaced the thermal fuse and the thermostats to ensure that everything was working properly. After testing the dryer, I found that it is working as intended.

I was called to a home to repair a Maytag top load washer that was not draining. Upon inspection, I found that the blue wire leading to the drain pump had broken where it curves under the tub. In that case, I say we need to replace the lower wiring harness to fix the issue.

Whirlpool cabrio top load washer is leaking. The leaking is coming from the gear case, the seal inside has worn out, allowing water to slowly leak down during the cycle and onto the floor. To fix the issue, we will need to replace the gear case and the slider.

I was called to a home to repair a Whirlpool top load washer that was unbalanced during the spin cycle. Upon inspection, I found that the suspension rods were worn out and not absorbing the shock properly when the washer was spinning. I also found that the inner tub bushing, and drive hub need to be replaced to solve the play the inner tub has. This can cause extra vibration and movement, which can contribute to off-balance loads.

Jimmy C.
The Maytag top load washer was not agitating or spinning. I performed a diagnostic test and found that the agitation and spin functions were not working. I checked the capacitor and found that it had failed. I replaced the capacitor and now the washer is working as intended.

Jimmy C.
LG front load washer that was experiencing an OE error message. The OE error message stands for the washer not being able to drain the water out of the tub in a timely manner. After inspecting the washer, I determined that the drain pump had mechanically failed and could no longer drain the water. I replaced the drain pump and now the washer is working as intended.

Kenmore elite dryer- dryer is making a loud screeching noise as it tumbles. I determined the issue to be the motor bearings and driveshaft are worn out and causing the noise. We will need to replace the drive motor along with the blower wheel. I recommended to replace the four wheel maintenance kit in the dryer as well to get the dryer running as long as possible.

I was called to a home to repair a refrigerator that was not making ice. Upon inspection, I found that the ice maker was not working. I replaced the optic boards and then it started harvested ice. The customer was very pleased with the service and thanked me for my help.

Jimmy C.
Whirlpool dryer that will not start. Upon inspection, I determined that the thermal fuse had blown due to overheating caused by a bad setup of the dryer exhaust duct. I replaced the thermal fuse and the cycling thermostat to get the dryer back up and running.

Customer complained unit noisy. 700 BR subzero. Diagnosed found fan runs but buzzing. Also found the condenser coils packed with debris. Cleaned out condenser coil unit runs a little bit better but need to replace the fan for the future not going to kill the unit.
